(Edit: There is a LOT of information out there, it's just very outdated.) I'm following the guide on Steam to learn the basics, but near the end of it he just places a bunch of buildings and says "Whammo, good luck figuring that out!" No, not really, he didn't say that, but that's what I read into his lack of explanation. The buildings don't even look similar to what's in the research tree so that I can decipher it with comparisons. So what does this mean to you? I need friends. Friends that don't mind explaining things to a girl that has the comprehension of a fish unless I do it first. Friends that don't mind screen sharing in Discord and showing me where I went wrong. I tried joining the Discord listed in these forums for ONI, but no one is ever in there. So if you're a hero and don't mind helping, please let me know. Personally I more like to watch ONI gameplays on youtube - can find or understand more than from guides. When I had big incomprehensible problem really helpfull was ONI discord. They explain me what was my small mistake. Of course no one can tell you how to play, they can help you when you can't understand something or when something should work but doesn't. ONI is more like "trial and error method". Few mechanics are easy to understand and use, others are harder and need to spend more time at. But if you have problem with recognition of objects, I think you should look at this link. Maybe this database can bit help you. I'm not ONI master, more like common player.
