Make your primary ranch as easy on dupes as possible, by the time you have a lot of glossy dreckos you can probably make a 1-2 atmo suit dock for your starvation ranch, then a dupe can happily stand there shearing them all day. You would probably get higher efficiency by just building another ranch and having more dreckos the rancher can do in one day rather than wasting dupe time.
