lakhnish
The Crockpot Simulator, which simulates the crockpot recipes in DS and DST, has been somewhat updated since the addition/changes to recipes since Warly's introduction to DST. However, there are two main issues currently holding it back from being fully updated now and in the future that needs resolving. 1. The first issue is issue #32, ie. there are differences between DS and DST in terms of recipes, ingredients, names, and possibly other values when choosing between the two games. Here are some examples: DS and DST both have Butter Muffins, but the two games have different recipes for them (DST allows Moon Moths). SW and DST both have Raw Fish, but have different values (and can be used). Fish from ponds no longer exist in DST, but still do in DS. If you have more questions on the differences, feel free to ask, and I do have a good portion of them listed in that thread as it does a little more complicated than just these examples. 2. Warly exists in DST now, but there's no way of choosing both Warly for DST. That means his DST specific recipes and downside to only eat crockpot foods isn't reflected in the simulator. Some of his recipes may face issues with the issue mentioned above, such as Monster Tartar. I do not have the necessary JavaScript skills to address these issues properly, since all I can do is update the simulator as new foods & recipes are added the game, not the more sophisticated issues like these two. If you're interested in helping out with either one, whether it be a framework so that others can come in and update the simulator accordingly or to address either issue as you see fit, feel free to make a pull request with your changes. It would be greatly appreciated for a resource that has been with the community for a very long time now. Thanks!
