Gift wrap is way too good for Event-only item

The more I think about it the more it seems gift wrap would've been a great replacement for bundling wrap as means of permanent storage (Poste restante, wrapped until necessary and not planned to be put back once unwrapped) while bundling wrap is temporary storage (unwrapped and rewrapped time to time). It also could've a great way of compacting item storage and make single container like chest have 4x of its normal capacity. Perhaps making Klaus always drop blueprint for Gift Wrap upon death would have been the solution? He seems to be the only boss without unique drop and Gift Wrap is related to him the most.
