Mina_Vari Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 Could someone tell me what is wrong with this/my game ? https://www.twitch.tv/videos/497999664 When i launch new colonies the game -after some cycles- will freak out and start lagging like seen in this clip. I've tried to look around for help but it seems like noone else is having this problem. The game is completely unplayable like this. The curious thing is i had another game where this suddenly and randomly stopped... I can load that game (which is waaaay more complex and full compared to this new one) with no lag at all. It seems like theres something that happens within the save itself that makes the game confused. This is really annoying. DRAKCORE Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 Could be a few things. The stuttering could mean the system is overheating and underclocking to compensate. It could also be corruption or another resource running in the background hogging resources. Try the following. 1. Check the CPU, RAM and GPU usage while in game. See the % been used and also perhaps check if the CPU and GPU card is overheating. 2. Reload the graphics drivers and restart the machine, then test. 3. Re-install this game. 3. If all above didn't help, try running malwarebytes and do a scan.
