notnoshade
So I have a dedicated server that I am purchasing monthly through Nodecraft. I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the world settings. I've contacted the support team and they are unable to help me because they don't know how to do it. I thought I would be able to do it through the cluster.ini file and with the variables I listed, but it doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone know how to set world settings on a dedicated server? I added the [WORLD] and everything underneath. It wasn't there before.
Thalkas
https://dontstarve.fandom.com/wiki/Guides/Simple_Dedicated_Server_Setup#World_Customization Hope can help you! World settings need to change in worldgenoverride.lua not cluster.ini.
notnoshade
I tried it and followed that guide. It still doesn't work. I guess it just isn't possible to do it.
Knulfons
the worldgenoverride.lua is afaik outdated. you can generate a map in the game and use the "leveldataoverride.lua" files from this cluster in the caves/master folder and upload them to the corresponding folder on nodecraft.
