Emolga
Do you guys mind that your worlds can be easily deleted while trying to rollback? (Two-button confirmation.) These screenshots are options accessible to the Host of a server while holding the TAB key and selecting the options button that appears as an ellipse (...) From this select you can perform a Dice Roll, Destroy the world and start blank-slated, Rollback to the earliest point of the day or if earliest point, to previous day, or Hide Server Name— in that order. Ignoring the dangerous proximity for now.. I ask because there usually are implementations that prevent destruction of potentially important progress/items through different forms. Inverting usual choice positions of Yes and No as to dissuade accident from muscle-memory or just nagging the player if they're really /REALLY/ sure if they want to proceed with something. I'm concerned due to numerous loss of Don't Starve Together worlds at the hand of petty misclicks or compounded confirmation click trains by 'going through the motions for the umpteenth time' except on this latest umpteenth time you clicked pixels up and changed from rewinding a day on Day 359 to Regenerating the world to Day 01. Hours poured in now turned even digitally incorporeal and immediately irreversible. User error, yes, but it helps to minimize the window so the term 'error' rots to obscurity! And if you're curious, we lost an Endless world of (if my latest data bank entries are correct,) approximately 1,500 Days progress with two clicks. Our day length settings and seasonal settings are all set to normal, so each day is.. if the wiki is to be trusted, 8 minutes per starving day. That's 12,000 minutes, 200 In-Game Hours or 8.33... days of gameplay. A world that's been active before even Winona was refreshed! //HALF// of my playtime, even! Are there any existing mods that add to the UI that deters such easily accomplished accidents that any of you use? Irregardless.. USER ERROR, AMIRIGHT? POOH_LY
I feel sory for you, man. What I usually do is backing up my files every time after I finish playing. So, if anythng goes wrong, atleast I don't have to start all over.
