I would honestly prefer that they make batteries count as consumers and close the loophole because all the battery switchers are extremely janky and you clearly shouldn’t be able to transmit 20kW+ of power on a 1000W plain wire. The reasoning for both is the same and should be handled the same. A green outlet supplies power. A white outlet consumes power. Batteries are interesting as they switch from one to the other and charge in parallel. It doesn't make sense you can charge a battery quickly with just a small wire without overloading.
