oconzer
I would like if the game showed usage / production of materials for buildings / geysers also in cycles. This way we wouldn't have to do all the math outside of the game for exactly how much stuff is producing / using. For example with buildings Spoiler Algae Terrarium currently shows that it does the following (some text left out for clarity on changes): Requirements: Algae 30g/s Water 300g/s Effects: Oxygen 40g/s (44g/s in light) Polluted Water 290.33g/s Carbon Dioxide 333mg/s (366.3mg/s in light?) How It would show with my proposed changes: Algae Terrarium currently shows that it does the following: Requirements: Algae 30g/s 18kg per cycle Water 300g/s 180kg per cycle Effects: Oxygen 40g/s (44g/s in light) 24kg per cycle (26.4kg in light) Carbon Dioxide Consumed 333mg/s (366.3mg/s in light?) 199.8g per cycle (219.78g in light?) Polluted Water 290.33g/s 174.198kg per cycle For geysers Spoiler Geysers currently show the following (some text left out for clarity on the changes): Information Natural Gas 334.5g/s at 302 degrees F Eruption Period 261s every 505s Active Period 31.4 Cycles every 54.7 Cycles Next Dormancy ~~~~~ How It would show with my proposed changes: Information Natural Gas 334.5g/s at 302 degrees F 87.3045kg per Eruption Period 3,257.0629306kg per Active Period *math as so: 334.5g/s x 31.4 cycles x 600s per cycle / 505s eruption period lifetime x 261s eruption period* 59.544112078kg per Cycle over Lifetime *active + dormancy periods for clarification, math as so: 3,257.0629306kg per Active Period / 54.7 cycles* Eruption Period 261s every 505s Active Period 31.4 Cycles every 54.7 Cycles Next Dormancy ~~~~~ Notes: The reason for the materials per active period is so you can know how big a space / how much storage you need to possibly store a full active period's materials in. The per cycle over lifetime is so you know how much would be produced per cycle if it was constantly erupting at a set amount per s over every cycle and helps you determine how many machines you could run off a gas generator for example. Note it doesn't need to show all the numbers after the decimal point (could show upto the hundreth's place) I would personally probably do away with the per second and do per cycle for everything but it may be useful for somethings...???
