I wouldn't say that just because I put a tree and some mushrooms on the way to the toilets...but actually, the rest of the colony does have a pretty large amount of wild plants from preserving natural tiles where possible and letting pips roam, and getting the "Some Reservations" colony achievement wasn't terribly hard.
