with the addition of Warly and the new crockpot recipes do you guys think it would be nice for KLEI to have some sort of recipe book on its site, other than people going to google or wiki to look stuff up (and the wiki doesnt even have the updated recipes).

They could always add it under the magic tab so that no one questions how a recently sapient plant knows how to make some fine cuisine

Maybe, it can work kinda like the map scroll? You cook bunch of stuff and your character understands how to cook them and you can write it down on the desk and craft a book with all the stuff you cooked. Which can open a list for you in game that shows that x and y make z.

Or maybe there can be just a ''Cooking 101'' book in the magic tab that displays all the basic recipes and a ''warly special book'' that shows his stuff.. either way it would've been nice if that's somewhere in the game and not having to alt tab. I get it why it's not in the game but if you can draw a detailed map, why can't a character draw 2 carrots and 2 jerky equals kick ass chilli?

Recipe book could also have an additional perk where stats for food cooked get boosted by small percentage.
