Making it use 10 W makes sense because that's the same as a gas shutoff valve. Right now it consumes 100 g/s of natural gas. You get 889 W if you burn the same amount of gas in natural gas generators. Add 240 W and you get 1129 W or nearly the same as a metal refinery. Reducing power usage to 10 W lowers the total energy requirements to 899 W.
