A chemical laboratory for creating new materials or changing stuff like abyssalite into something useful would be cool to have. As for chemical threats chlorine should be one. Then we could use some kind of chemical protection other than atmo suits and maybe lower tier. Personally i`d like a biological protection suit that allows dupes to run through slime biomes and not get infected.

People suggested some sort of lategame geneticist job that could create different plants and critters.

As for food additives they could add a hot sauce that adds +1 tier to any food it`s used on (could be a special building for it and require a special kitchen room so it can be applied while cooking).
