The Plum Gate
We would get three levels of mastery in the cooking profession. And there's not really much benefit to it at two. The grill doesn't seem to cook any faster for a chef of level 7 cooking vs that of a basic chef of level 0. If this isn't the way it is supposed to be, then there's that - change that. Or a more meaningful change: Sous Chef (1) cooks one item at a time on the grill. Chef (2) can cook two items at a time ( double production ), Master Chef (3) can cook three items at a time ( triple production ) - Massive, meaningful benefits. Could tone down to two at a time at the master level - It just depends on the means of balance. Background: According to logic, the food can't cook any faster on the grill than it does or at least this is what feels like. I notice that some things cook faster than others - this seems to imply that there's a fixed time for each recipe. The microbe musher is maybe a different story, there seems to be a correlation between cooking skill and mushing speed while there doesn't seem to be a correlation between skill and speed at the grill.
