wild shove voles not feeding

I have collected wild shove voles, however, they are always in a hungry state, despite the feeder being full with a ready supply of regolith.  The feeder is never being refilled, as it's always full.

The only way that I'm able to feed the things and remove some of the obscene quantities of regolith is to manually unset/set the storage compactors for regolith.

I heard that there was a bug recently regarding critters not feeding from the feeder, but I thought this was fixed as my other critters are feeding fine, although they are all tame.
