Carbon fiber as a replacement for steel.

Recommended Posts

Forged at the molecular forge using refined carbon and isoresin. Carbon fiber is resilient enough to serve as bunker material at least when compared to steel. The advantage would be less thermal conductivity. Could be used for airlocks for a bit of insulation.

It shouldn`t be usable for electric stuff though. Unless we call it graphene fiber. On a second thought that fits the molecular forge a bit more.
