Can't connect to dedicated server (everyone else can).

I can't seem to connect to this server, I setup this server at a remote location (it is not hosted within the same network). Anyone else I ask can connect to this server without issue. However when I try to connect it never works. I've noticed this issue while trying to connect to a number of other servers as well. This seems to be something wrong with my network but I don't see what it could be.

 

I have DMZ running with my local ip on the router and do not have a firewall running.

 

Attempting to connect with c_connect results in the following:

The server console shows nothing when I try to connect however accurately logs when anyone else connects.

 

Does anyone know what could be going wrong here?

i know, but DMZ is often used for a web server

 

this is why I don't know if it works on a DMZ, but maybe you're right

 

anyway, your DMZ have a static IP address?

 

I suppose it is not useful to open a network port on a DMZ?

I believe that the DMZ is indeed out of your local network, and so in effect there is no need to open port but just allocate an IP address to your DMZ statics

 

if you have disabled DMZ, you need open the port on your NAT of your router and make IP address statics on your computer

So I tried disabling DMZ, assigning myself a static ip and then forwarding the appropriate port (10999) with the same result. Everyone else can connect to the server but for me the server never receives a connection .

@ToNiO55,  The server was originally installed without mods mods were only added within the last few hours when requested by someone. I haven't been able to connect since the beginning even before mods were added.

@ToNiO55, The only thing I was able to find was:

 

Name resolution for the name assets.kleicdn.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

 

But even then this only shows up twice and I do believe using c_connect make this irrelevant.

So it appears the last game update fixed my issue? I'm able to connect to the server now and since my last tests I've changed nothing on my end. I did however update the server so whatever my issue was has been fixed.
