Power usage graphs

Recommended Posts

In Factorio, a game similar to ONI, you can see the power production, consumption, and storage on a graph GUI. (see attached image)  I think this would be useful to see when more power is needed, (for example, when the natural gas geyser isn't pumping), or to see if actual wattage used ever goes over 1000W/20kW.  Thank you for your time.

This is great, I would suggest to make all colors unique in the electrical system (Producers, providers, and consumers). Provide listed and graphical data to the player, much like how Factorio displays it, only in the already implemented views (changing the list in the right to reflect the current view, adding whats useful, removing what is not). The final feature change I would hope for is to adjust the way highlighting electrical lines does not change based on position, yes I can add up the numbers, but it would be such a quality of life improvement to have my mouse position on the circuit change the readout for the supply/demand tool tip.

It would be nice to have a better understanding of how the power worked in the base.  This could be applied to be able to tell if automation is required to maintain steady power flow.  It could also be nice on individual circuits to see if they are being overburdened at all throughout a cycle.
