Shadow tendril try’s to prioritize and damage non hostile shadow creatures. This issue also applies to other players non hostile shadow creatures. The video below shows a non hostile crawling horror (300hp) get hit by 4 shadow tendrils (400 damage) and still live because I’m not insane yet/it’s invulnerable. pig warriors were there to highlight how the shadow tendrils prioritize the shadow creature over the pig warriors.
Steps to Reproduce
(This was on Xbox series x in a public world)
1. Reach threshold where nightmare creatures show up but don’t attack you.
2. cast shadow tendril
3. Watch shadow tendrils attack non hostile shadow creature
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
