Miner Hat Crash

While using the miner hat in the caves, if the usage depletes to 0% the game immediately crashes. It goes to a black screen with a message "the game has closed due to an error". Game cannot be reloaded unless a rollback prior to the crash. This is on the switch. 

Steps to Reproduce

Enter caves, wear miners hat, let hat deplete to 0%

Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I have not experienced this and have let my miner hat go to 0 many times before.

Was this in the caves? Also, what season of the year are you in? Lastly, are you on splitscreen?

I'm not with Klei, I'm just curious because I'm trying to help Klei make the Switch experience seamless.

The seasons were Spring, Summer, and Autumn. This happened every single time. And my hat ran out often when I was being chased by spiders/monkeys/clockworks. 

 

I was not on split screen, but I am playing online with my friend who is the host.
