Unable to go into caves

I just experienced this same issue with my friends on ps5, Hopefully a bug fix gets implemented soon

ya i js got stuck on infinite loading screen after trying to leave a cave,,, funnn

Same issue here. Since the update my friends have been getting stuck on loading and then are unable to reconnect after going into the caves.

Pls fix this bug on ps5 won’t let my friends go into caves with me it puts them in a infinite loading screen been out ever since the update date 

 

I'm looking into this but so far I can't reproduce it in the office. A couple of questions that might help:
- for the player who can't enter the caves, after they go into the sinkhole does the background of the loading screen change, or do they only see the same background the whole time (this would help me know how far through loading they got, they should see the background switch halfway through loading)
- could your friend record/attach a video from before they enter the sinkhole until they're disconnected? I might provide a clue

I cant get a video atm but so far I've discovered that

-the host is always able to enter the caves

-Other players can never enter the caves

I'll see if I can manage some testing in a bit

Some information:

Both on PS5 although Im pretty sure this happens on PS4 as well

First clip - just going into caves

Second clip - Rejoining after disconnect and then rejoining after a rollback to before I was in the caves

Having this same issue in a group with only ps5s. The 2.96 patch and subsequent patch seem to have broken the game. These connection issues are making the game unplayable.

@BerblyDerbly Thanks for the video, I think it helped me solve the problem. 
This should be fixed in the next update (2.98)
