Tallbird Eggs Not Hatching

TheRealBryan
  • Pending

Upon placing Tallbird Eggs nearby/close to a lit Campfire/Fire Pit, the Tallbird Eggs don't seem to change into Hatching Tallbird Eggs, no matter how long the fire is kept lit.

Notably, even crafting and placing a brand-new Campfire/Fire Pit fails to start the hatching phase of a Tallbird Egg.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Get a fresh Tallbird Egg from a Tallbird Nest.

2. Place the egg nearby an unlit Campfire/Fire Pit.

3. Light the fire source, and watch as the Tallbird Egg does not change into a Hatching Tallbird Egg.

User Feedback

Oh, I’ve actually attempted hatch them during the day even when I made this post, though the eggs don’t seem to enter their hatching phase. I kept the Tallbird Eggs even at point blank range at a fully lit Fire Pit for a whole day, and even that didn’t get a single one them to hatch. Very strange, isn’t it? :wilson_hurt:

Same here.

I placed two eggs close to the firepit and lit it full power. It started hatching but i went away and it turned to wet goop(too cold), so I tried again with another two eggs but this time they won't even enter hatching phase even after waiting a full day. I tried making another world to test it but still doesn't hatch. :wilson_enraged:

Note: It's day time and i got frustrated I placed it literally inside(not cook) the pit to try and see the sweating animation.
