Random things turn invisable

It seems seemingly random but certain items in the game turn invisible. However, it changes practically daily. For example when logging into the game I was not able to see my lureplants, but I was able to interact with them. The next day I was able to see the lureplants but not my wardrobe. Things along this line continue to happen. So far I've seen this happen to Chester, certain beefalo skins, crockpot, fridges, large plants, character skins, fences and pig houses.

note: This only happens with specific skins for the item. For example the default skin for the wardrobe was visible but when I added my skin it became invisible.

I play split screen, this happens every time I play.
