PS5 issues with imported data

Since the update I've been trying to play on the PS5 version but there's been a persistent problem where I can't join any world.

Be it either my own worlds, or someone else's.

The game just gets stuck on the "launching server" pop ups and I have to force close it.

After messing around a bit, I think its related to when I import data from the PS4 version.

If I delete the local PS5 data before booting up the game, it runs normally, even after restarting the game I am able to join worlds and create my own.

If I then import my PS4 data, I am able to play as long as I dont close the game.

The moment I close it and boot it up again, I face the same issue of being unable to join any world because it gets stuck on the loading screen.

If i try reimporting the PS4 data from the options menu, it gets stuck there too at that point.

I've reinstalled the game several times, but it always happens.

The only workaround I found is deleting the local ps5 version data and importing the ps4 data, but as I said above, the moment I close the game and reopen it gets stuck on loading again, and I have to redo the process.

This is annoying, as I also have to adjust custom settings every single time.

I would be OK with playing without importing the data, but I have characters in friend's world that I play regularly on, so this would mean losing progress there, and some of these worlds are 5k+ days in.

Im not sure if this is happening to anyone else?

Steps to Reproduce

Basically open the ps5 version, import the ps4 data (either from the prompt that auto detects it, or from the options menu), close the game and reopen, and now it doesnt let me join any worlds.

(If I dont close the game after importing, I am able to join worlds and play. But this means the next day when I try to play again I have to do the whole delete and reimport process again")
