[PS5] After game update 3.32 server crashes constantly and corrupt saves data

Hello, today morning my console updated Don't Starve Together to version 3.32. I started playing and noticed different HUD size. After a few minutes game crashes. I started again and it repeated every ingame day/days. The problem is that now I Cannot proceed at all. Games crashes at the same day. The most scary part of that every 1-2 crash saves data beta corrupted ! Years of playing... Luckily i was able to load backup and i didn't lost anything.

Issue occurrs randomly during the day. 1 minute od playing, 3 minutes or even a few seconds. it Cannot go further than 6 minutes for sure as i tried multiple times.

Just Play the game on 3.32 version for ps5

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems after the latest update. I have a couple of questions and requests:

  • Have you reported the crashes when the PS5 prompts you to do so? Could you try paying again and crashing and this time adding a comment that would I could use to look for that specific crash? 
  • Would you be able to copy the savedata from your PS5 and upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox and send a link to our support page, I might be able to look at the savedata and figure out what's going wrong.
  • If you're playing on PS5 you have the option of a free upgrade to the PS5 native version of DST. Have you tried installing it and importing your savedata there?

Thanks a lot. It seems that game upgrade to PS5 version fixed the issue. I was able to play for around 30 minutes. No crashes. Tomorrow I'll have a longer playing session so I'll type results here.

I created report on PS5 when the game crashed and attached video + screenshot + message.

Crash report message:

"Crashing on regular gameplay v3.2 CharlesB 24.01.26 wojciechp"

Crash error: CE-108255-1

I have copied save data from my PS and sent You the google drive link in private message. 

 

Still it seems that game upgrade to PS fixed the problem. Providing all details and save data in case that it would be helpful in any way.

Hello all. Coming back a little late. It seems that moving to native ps5 version fixed the issue. It also fixed many other Bugs like invisible nightmare werepig columns or beefalo third Horn. Overall no bugs or crashes encountered for 20+ hours of gameplay. Thanks a lot CharlesB. This can be marked as solved.

I'm glad to hear that switching to the PS5 version has fixed your problems. I wanted to look at the crash anyway and was able to load up your savedata but strangely I'm not getting any. Were you crashing in the 760 day world, the 443 day world, or another one?

Crashing was occurring on all worlds but i recently played 443 days one the most.
