Players not able to move on boat (Splitscreen)

Hello! I have been experiencing this since the Waterlogged update.

When sailing on the boat and using one or more sails, players will randomly freeze. They can not move or highlight any items in their inventory. It is like any input from the controller is ignored.

It seems that the faster the that players are going (more sails), the more frequent this happens. It will usually happen after picking something up or checking the map. When the players freeze, the game still continues as normal and the player will be able to move after a few seconds. One player freezing does not affect the other who is sharing the screen, but both players can be frozen at the same time. 

This seems to ONLY affect players with lag compensation turned on. I have not been able to recreate this issue with lag compensation turned off. I have also not experienced this issue while playing single player.
