Giving player items visual bug

(This bug is very old ,but I don’t think it has ever been reported)

If you try giving a player that is moving (in a straight line for example) an item you will run after that player until you reach them (fair enough). After you reached them the first time your character will do the give animation ,but because the other player moves away from you you will get stuck in that animation and slide while following the player you are trying to give that item.
