Friends can’t join my game at all

Do you know if you're trying to connect to a server in a different PSN region than you are? For example, you're in the Sony Americas region and you're trying to connect to a player in the Sony Europe region. I've found an issue where players are no longer able to join games between regions and I'm working to find a solution.

Me and my friends are in the same country but my account is an Americas region & my friend's account is an European region PSN account. I've noticed this & guessed this should be the problem cause some games restrict multilayer over regions so I've tried to join a friend with same game version of my account (Americas region) and as a result we could simply join each other.
