Can't Kick or View The 3rd Player In My World

I hosted a game and a few people joined and I couldn't view their character or kick em in the scoreboard. 

 

Steps to Reproduce
have 3 players in a game and go to your scoreboard and try to kick/view the 3rd player.

I've had this situation too where people join my server who I cannot kick.  I've also wondered why this happens.  The only way to get rid of them seems to be to disconnect from the server and then reconnect.  What's up with this?
