Undocumented drowning rule change

Before this patch, a critter in a liquid with a mesh tile above it would not drown.

Now, they do drown.

While such a change isn't unreasonable, I am thinking it might be a bug, as there was no patch note relating to changing the drowning rules for these critters, though it might be related to the following change:

  • Fixed Dreckos getting stuck drowning when hanging from mesh tiles.

Note that I don't know if the liquids underneath are necessary, but that is the setting I found this to be happening in.


Steps to Reproduce
  • Create the structure in the image pre and post patch
  • Add critters like pips, slicksters, hatches.
  • Observe that the pre-patch critters do not drown and the post-patch critters drown.
