User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

The save files you attached are not the correct ones. You want to attach the .sav files located in cloud_save_files. According to your Player.log it should be located in this folder:

OneDrive\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\cloud_save_files\76561199077548612\Viral Home\

I don't see a crash mentioned in your Player.log, does the game display an error screen or suddenly close?

I'm sorry to hear that. I reviewed your save file and let it run for multiple cycles and there doesn't seem to be a problem with it. Your computer restarting is a sign that the issue is with your system configuration or hardware. You might be able to find more information about the cause from the Windows 11 Reliability Monitor as explained here.

Thank You, your advise led me to missing files, a complete steam reinstall was necessary, I have a report.

I'm glad to hear you were able to figure out what was crashing your computer.

Could you attach your Player.log again after the error occurs? It might contain additional information to help troubleshoot this issue. Your save file is not crashing for me. I suspect this could be related to your graphics drivers so I recommend updating them.

Could you describe when the error happened?

  • Thanks 1
