This is an older issue I haven't found reported: sounds and noises don't respect planetoid boundaries.
- incoming "comets"
- operating machinery
- flowing water
- launching/landing rockets
are heard in the depths of planetoids above them.
In the attached save, the dug-out chamber in the moo planet is above the 3 noise sources prepared on the regolith planet
Steps to Reproduce
Turn down ambience in sound volume.
Arrange for some noise generation near the top of a planetoid which is laid out below another planetoid.
Switch to the planetoid above and listen for noises coming from the other planetoid.
