Rover stuck in a loop while constructing vertical ladder

I've landed a rover on the Regolith Planetoid and ordered it to mine some nearby mafic rock and use it to build a ladder deeper down. A few cycles later I wanted to check its progress and this is what I've found:

It looks like it tries going up the ladder to get to the mafic rock, but when it climbs one tile higher its pathfinding stops working (as occasionally you can see "no materials available" warning on the ladder construction orders), so it goes back down and tried that again. Cancelling the closest ladder order frees the rover from the loop.

Apparently, the problem occurs when the currently built ladder is one tile above the ground. When the rover jumps up to get on the ladder, its pathfinding resets and momentarily loses the ability to get anywhere. I've removed one ladder on the bottom of the line and told the rover to build a Storage Bin higher up, and the rover got stuck again:

Steps to Reproduce

1. Deliver a rover to a planetoid.

2. Build a ladder one tile above the ground.

3. Create a dig or construction order for the rover in such location that it has to use the ladder to get to it.

Well  the reproduction is a bit more complicated then that. This behaviour happens when the Rovers are hit by an Asteroid (not sure if it needs to be on ladder or not). I feel like this is needed to be fixed it causes large issues when you want to land on an Asteroid with an Meteorshower.

Not sure if many people get that far in the Game. But the rovers are elementary.
