Rocket liquid tank filters not working

I built a rocket liquid tank and set the filter to accept petrol.  Since the module has no intake port, I built a liquid intake fitting inside the command module to load the petrol but it was still connected to the fresh water line supplying the wall toilet.  The water went into the liquid rocket liquid tank module, despite the filter setting.

liquid fittings, like rocket mining, ignore filters.

you will have to use a liquid rocket port loader, attached to the rocket platform for that
