Orbital Cargo Module not working

I'm dealing with the same bug. I had to use debug mode to teleport in some resources from a different world instead, because the cargo was completely lost.

I deployed some steel and never saw it
I thought it melted or something but it was probably this bug

I managed to use the orbital cargo a few weeks ago, though, so maybe something broke in a recent update.

Me too, I also used the orbital cargo module previously on this save. I wonder if the bug only triggers on the second activation of the orbital cargo module.

It also worked pre 449549 for me.

I needed 2 trips/activations for my first colony and both worked - pre 449549.

Ok, i found the missing payload. 

It gets teleported to a different planet, on a tile position below the surface.

I repeated the procedure and the payload again was telported to this planet to a tile about 15tiles to the right, same height.
