Materials not recognized despite being within reach

In the screenshot below, there's copper on the ground but on the resources screen it shows up at 0kg

and when trying to build using the material, it cannot be used to build with, despite being on the ground

Navigation shows that the materials are reachable

I had mods on but they did not change this property when disabled, this problem also did not occur before, with and without mods on


Steps to Reproduce

This was not a problem in the save until very recently, the exact moment that this occurred is unknown, and I don't know how to reproduce the problem, just happened eventually during normal play. If the save file is needed I'm more than happy to attach it

Do you have any unfinished builds? You could check when opening "see all resources" if it says there are x kg in the "reserved" column to see if there are more available.

no, all building errands are stopped that require the material, when more materials are created, either through metal refinement or volcanoes they will either not be accounted for or be added to the total, sweeping stacks together also has irregular outcomes. the problem eventually resolves itself as more materials are created, but if im not careful then combined stacks will have a chance to be recognized or not
