Hi,

Having a dupe with a specific trait which unlock and advance skill super duperhard digging on my exemple won't give you acces to standard digging.

So my dupe can't dig granit...

The super duper digging skill shouldn't allow you to dig the hard ore + the one above them ?

Steps to Reproduce

having a dupe with super duperhard digging skill unlocked at the beginning of the game

 

try to dig granit

Go to bugs

I came to the forums to report this issue as well, I think having the skill should teach the skills required for that one as well.

You still need to unlock the previous skills. What the unlocked skills get you is not having to pay the morale requirement and having access to them earlier

I had similar issue with dupe missing skill on second asteroid. So I teleported him to first asteroid, trained for SDH digging and sent back. Tiles were still marked as "missing skill" until I canceled and placed the same dig task.
