Item doesn't recognize its surroundings; raw egg is cooling to 1c inside 200c steam, reloading save fixes it.

Sometimes the raw egg heats up as it should inside the 200c steam, other times the raw egg enters the steam area at 5-10c and cools down to 1c. With status of 'sterile atmosphere' & 'refrigerated' while being inside steam as seen in the screenshot. Saving and reloading temporarily resolves the issue until a new batch of raw eggs enters the steam area. Haven't tested other items, issue may be with every item in the game and not just raw egg only.

Another issue I've noticed is the conveyer loader which holds the eggs sometimes is able to hold over it's 1,000 kg capacity, i've seen auto sweeper keep piling on eggs into it to 1,400 kg at one point, reloading a save fixes it temporarily.

Steps to Reproduce

The process from start to finish of the raw egg bugging out can all be seen in the screenshot. Top left corner in the conveyer loader is where the autosweeper stores the eggs, with 1 conveyer rail leading to nowhere, i believe there is an egg on this conveyer as well, this is needed for the conveyer loader to function. The raw eggs are stored inside the conveyer loader until their viability drops to 0% after which raw eggs fall out of the storage. Then the autosweeper picks up the raw egg and sends it to the 1x3 chlorine gas area. Then another autosweeper picks up the raw egg from the gas area and sends it to the steam area.

Do the eggs enter the fridge at all? Sometimes the fridge makes the temperature of the food it touches very sticky

No fridge, the 1x3 chlorine area is -30c so it enters that area for a split second until an autosweeper picks it up to be sent to the steam area.

 

The issue you described sounds like a different major gameplay bug, is there a ticket open for that?
