Hatches not interacting as expected

Bohrhandler
  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Windows Pending

Some (not all) of my wild hatches seem to be gravity defying, and very glitchie when trussed (such as upside down in blocks, teleporting, deburrowing into trussed mode, elevated burrow mode above dirt).  Maybe these were in the ground when I said to truss?  Just not sure why I got 5 fine and then these 2 went nuts.  I had just setup hatch room, learned husbandry, and was finding them all to capture then notice a few hadn't made it.  The other ones were in areas that had previously been developed with floors and walls...thinking out loud on this part.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Find random wild hatches (focus on those in areas of natural dirt/metals, etc)

2. Capture/Truss

3. Monitor to see if Dups can come and collect, and night/day transitions to burrowing/unburrowing

User Feedback

Same here EX1 56-448916 build.  The hatches will either be burrowed in the air or be cycling between burry and wrangled on the ground or in the air.  For me it only reproduces when the hatch is wrangled.  Hatches walking around normally seem to be fine and do not behave erratically.  Also dupes have wrangled hatches in solid stone, usually one tile deep and the hatch does not "pop out" of the stone. I have not dug these up yet to determine if the wrangled hatch is there still.
