Gas Vent Overpressure bug.

LazyMcJones
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Fixed

The nuclear reactor with the 10 attached steam turbines has run for nearly 270 cycles straight without any overpressure situations.

Placing a room underneath the reactor and filling it with high pressure hydrogen (9999kg) will cause it to go into a 'Gas Vent Overpressure' State'. Save files and screenshots included.

EDIT: I have attached a screenshot of the exact square that seems to be causing the problem.

It's Blowing Up.sav

Steps to Reproduce

1. Make a nuclear reactor room.

2. Start the reactor.

3. Place a room underneath the reactor.

4. In sandbox mode, add 9999kg of hydrogen to the room underneath.(EDIT, it's just the square 2 tiles underneath the reactor that is causing headaches.

5. Watch the fireworks.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

This is very niche way a playing the game. Overpressurizing gases that much is just exploiting the game mechanics and naming this particular case (which was not even reproduced in survival map) as a bug is an overstatement.
