I saved the game in order to savescum some printer resources, and when I loaded the game I was welcomed with the New Planetoid Detected sound, and when checking the map I saw this.
I can oversee the planetoid, with the normal "ship in orbit" view.
EDIT: I have traveled to this place before, and then rolled back a few cycles. That is likely the cause

Have a ship in space
Save the game and reload?
Autosave (before the issue) : Antfarm Cycle 1229.sav
My save (during the issue) : Antfarm.sav
