Dupes ignore Atmo Suit Checkpoint if built next to interior hatch

I built an atmo suit checkpoint (with an adjacent atmo suit dock) in a spacefarer module to be able to mine graphite on the water planetoid. My dupe ignored the checkpoint (not putting on a suit) when leaving the rocket until I deconstructed it and built it one tile away from the interior hatch leaving the rocket.


Steps to Reproduce

Build an atmo suit checkpoint adjacent to the interior hatch of a spacefarer module. Build an atmo suit dock next to that. Provide with oxygen and power.

From left to right:

Interior hatch - Atmo Suit Checkpoint (Left facing) - Atmo Suit Dock

 

Now order a dupe to leave the rocket.

Expected: Dupe puts on a suit, or is not allowed to leave if the suit is not charged

Result: Dupe ignores the checkpoint and leaves the rocket

Same here, in the latest version ('Rocketry Renovation Update').

I have built the checkpoint at the entrance, so the dupes would doff the suits when entering the rocked and don them when getting out. They remove the suits at the checkpoint as expected, but do not pick them up when leaving the rocket. The result is suits piling at the entrance and the dupes getting back to the base unsuited.
