Cannot land rocket on asteroids due to black screen

Just move the mouse up the screen. Your overview screen is in the middle of a hidden location. Just climb up.

 

New platytrough during the early access, I came to the same issue 

 

On the dark picture you can see zoomed out screenshot with the dig tool selecting the whole asteroid and there isn't any discovered locations. 

Confirm same as original poster; the world is black and I cant deploy the rover.

If I go into debug mode and make a small area visible (that includes a ground to rest on) then I can spawn the rover.  Attempting to place in the dark doesnt work, even if I click on pretty much every possible space in the upper hemisphere of the map.

Since I cant leave debug mode once entered, this pretty much means restarting the base.

Is "Fix surface fog-of-war on all worlds" a fix for this?
