Beeta tries to sting Plug Slug, then game crashes

Crash has happened several times. Last time before it occured I watched a Beeta move like 50 tiles to sting a Plug Slug, and then the game instantly crashes.  Happens within a few minutes of loading my save.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Put beeta in proximity to a Plug Slug

2. Make beeta attack it (not sure why/how/when it chooses its target)

3. Crash occurs when it tries to sting Slug

 

Can provide file where it happens within a cycle of loading, but can't upload do to it being slightly over-sized
