Rocket with enough fuel refuses to be launched via automation, in checklist fuel is not check-marked despite acknowledging that there is enough fuel for a one-way trip. Rocket simply ignores green signal and I had to remove logic input and launch rocket manually.
This worked fine some time ago. On first screenshot you can see it working, tank is half full but is sufficient, on second screenshot rocket has same destination and amount of fuel, enough fuel to reach destination according to tooltip, but checklist is not complete. This is a return trip to a CO2-rich asteroid 3 tiles away, where rocket was originally fueled. This limits use of automation for single use rockets (I'm sometimes sending single use CO2 rockets whose purpose is to be unloaded and disassembled at destination, they don't need a full tank)
Workaround: top up the tank.
P.S. Similar issue with cargo loading, but there I can just disable loaders, not waste gas.
- Build a CO2 rocket
- Set destination to be a 3 tiles (half the tank) away landing platform
- Fuel rocket to have enough fuel exactly for 3 tiles (destination might need to be marked as a 'plus a return' trip)
- Try to send rocket away via automation
