Starving Bammoth won't eat food

A starving Bammoth won't eat any of the available plants. It will stay like this until it dies. It has happenned to me multiple times already but I still don't know how to replicate it.

Notice how it doesn't have the "looking for food" status

Steps to Reproduce

I still haven't figured out how to replicate it. This is just a standart 96 tiles ranch with 5 plants

Your radish hasn't grown enough yet. It must be at least 25% growth so that the mammoth can eat it.

Also if there are other bammoths in the ranch and the ranch doesn't produce enough another bammoth reserves the plant to eat. It's just chance.
