Door Permissions On Non-Starting Asteroids

Liwlow
  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Windows Fixed

In Spaced out worlds, all dupes are shown under starting asteroid door permissions regardless of which asteroid they are printed or are currently located. I assume as a result of this, no individual dupes (standard and bionic) are shown under non-starting asteroid door permissions. This is not a problem if you intend to restrict all standard or bionic dupes. It is only a relevant issue when wanting to restrict individual dupes with either category.

Door permissions can be copied from the starting asteroid to doors on other asteroids to restrict dupe pathing, but copying door permissions (from starting or other asteroids) does not allow pathing through that same door despite the door menu saying it should.

The player log includes mods. As much as I didn't want to, I disabled all mods prior to posting, both restarted a test branch save and made a new world, and the following issue persisted. These pictures of from the world where no mods are enabled. Occasionally, the sub-category will display "None Available", but other times it will be blank despite the arrow next to Standard or Bionic indicating a sub-category should have been shown.

1. Starting asteroid 4/5 dupes (spawned 2 bionic dupes through sandbox as image shows)

2. Other Asteroid 1/5 dupes (bionic dupe sent through teleporter)

If I overlooked someone reporting this or I have completely forgotten how door permissions worked prior to this branch, please disregard. If there is something else you require, please ask.

It just seems the door permissions would display with similar logic to the population counter. It recognizes total dupes but displays current with respect to the asteroid we view.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a world.

2. Transfer/Print a dupe on another asteroid.

3. Assuming I am right, click on door permissions and it should not display individual standard or bionic dupes.
