WASD going to the extreme

When using the WASD keys to scroll the map, VERY often the chosen key will refuse to stop when I release it and just continue scrolling in it's direction. Eventually it will release, I will have to press the opposite direction to center back... But the same thing will happen and I will just be flung on the other side of the map. It's not game breaking, and I've seen it in other games, but it's unpleasant and happens often enough that I thought I should mention it.

Steps to Reproduce
It happens randomly but I have started at least 10 games and there is not one game where this has not happened. Sometimes I left the game because of it.

hi, would you mind turning on your fps monitor from steam settings

and let me know what your fps looks like when this problem occurs?

My settings are not exactly the same as your.

My "In-Game FPS counter" says "Off"
and I don't have a check in the "High contrast color" box.

All the rest is the same.

Do you think I should be matching your data?

this is just something that will help you id the problem.  it is an indicator of how fast the game is running.

in the mean time instead of using WASD for controls, right click and drag the mouse will also move the map
