If an oil well loses power while a duplicant releases its gas pressure, the animation will be interrupted every second. The gas output drops slightly, but the release job continues.

Fill oil well with gas, start the gas release job, disconnect the well from power, observe the interrupted animation, mouse over it to see the gas production drop
