Underwater Vomit not contaminated

I just had a dupe vomit underwater, and instead of adding contaminated water - which turns yellow and falls to the bottom of the water container - the vomit instead was clean water, adding to the water container. I'm guessing this isn't expected behavior, but it was a nice bug to catch!

Steps to Reproduce
Have a dupe vomit underwater
Go to bugs

Are you sure it added to the water? 1kg of vomit isn't much when adding to 1000kg of water.
Could've just been smashed out of existence like gases do often.
